07. Power

Electrical Power is a measure of how much energy is used per time unit by some component through which the current I is flowing and over which a voltage of U is present:

P:=U⋅I

Power relates to work W with:

W=∫P⋅dt

Note that with a resistor R, you know that U=R⋅I, so:

P=R⋅I²
