IMAPFS

IMAPFS is a FUSE-based filesystem that lets you mount your remote mailbox via IMAP and represent your mail as files.

Note that this project is still very young and most things probably don't work yet. If you want to improve it, please do, and send me patches :-).

Disambiguation: There is another project, http://imapfs.sourceforge.net/ by Spoon (Xuan Luo), which lets you use an IMAP mailbox for normal file storage (i.e. NOT really E-Mails to someone else).

It is written in Python 2.5.
