Forum to News Gateway

Since I'm a Usenet user of old, I wrote a phpbb to NNTP gateway. Now I can use my normal news program to read HTML phpbb fori. Nice :-) This fetches a remote phpbb over http (the web pages :)) and mirrors them locally. It is updateable (i.e. it doesn't fetch everything again), and I wrote a papercut module as well, so you can serve them over NNTP.

  • python 2.4
  • A filesystem that can handle small files
  • papercut
